Iniciativa financiada por la UE en Brno proporciona soluciones efectivas para personas sin hogar

In partnership with EU-funded Housing First initiative in Brno offers a path out of homelessness

A Housing First program funded by the EU in Brno supports individuals in leaving the streets behind and reconstructing their lives through secured housing combined with social assistance.

Miroslav, aged 59, endured over ten years living without shelter before obtaining an apartment alongside assistance from social workers, which alleviated everyday concerns and restored his sense of stability. He is among 20 families reaping the benefits of this project, active from 2023 until 2025 and primarily financed by the European Social Fund+.

This initiative links affordable homes with specialized support in health, job seeking, and repairing family relationships. According to local staff, stable housing plays a vital role in recovery by providing safety, respect, and opportunities for progress.
