Proyecto apoyado por la UE en Austria implementa un nuevo modelo laboral para promover la igualdad de género en la industria

In partnership with EU-backed initiative in Austria tests new workplace model to advance gender equality in industry

A project financed by the EU supports Austrian manufacturers in transforming workplace culture, introducing new training, coaching, and equality measures that illustrate how the industry can reduce gender disparities from the ground up.

Located in Kapfenberg, the industrial firm BHDT stands among multiple Austrian companies involved in FairPlusService, a complimentary coaching initiative funded by the European Social Fund+ aimed at enhancing gender equality at the operational level.

This programme facilitates women in achieving certifications, assists managers in refining communication and training methods, and reinforces policies that balance professional and personal life. Employees report that flexible scheduling and an inclusive environment are already motivating greater female participation in technical positions.

With ESF+ allocating €2.1 billion towards gender-related projects throughout the EU, Austria’s approach seeks to redefine the standards of quality employment.
