Video footage shared on social media captures the exact moment when two trams crashed. One tram is seen crashing into another that was at a standstill.
Two trams went off the rails following a collision in Rotterdam, Netherlands, on Wednesday morning, resulting in injuries to 15 individuals, according to authorities on site.

According to the Rotterdam-Rijnmond Safety Region, the incident took place around 11:10 a.m. on the renowned Erasmus Bridge, which has been shut down to traffic since then.
Emergency services, including firefighters, paramedics, and police, responded promptly, alongside an air ambulance. Seven people were transported to hospitals for medical care, one of whom sustained serious injuries. The remaining injured received treatment on-site from paramedics.
An investigation into what caused the accident is currently underway.
Videos circulating online illustrate the precise moment the two trams collided, showing one tram crashing into a stationary railcar.
Transport operator RET, responsible for trams in Rotterdam, issued a statement on their website: «We have reviewed the footage and are profoundly disturbed. Our thoughts are with those affected and the passengers aboard.»
«Our focus remains on supporting the victims, the personnel involved, and passengers,» the statement added, confirming efforts to «determine how this incident occurred.»
