Emergency responders at the site stated that at least five individuals—three males and two females—were hurt and swiftly taken to local hospitals for medical care. The seriousness of their injuries remains undisclosed.

This incident follows a series of attacks affecting more than 10 cities nationwide. Officials confirm that the Kremlin’s strikes over the last day caused at least 10 deaths and wounded upwards of 70 people.

According to the Ukrainian Air Force, Moscow fired a launch comprising hundreds of drones and missiles. Kyiv’s air defenses detected 268 drones entering Ukrainian airspace late Saturday and into early Sunday, successfully intercepting 249 of them.

The Air Force noted that 19 Iranian-made Shahed strike UAVs along with a single ballistic missile successfully hit designated targets across 15 separate sites.

According to Vadym Filashkin, the regional Governor, two fatalities occurred in Dobropillia and Mykolaivka, located in Donetsk within the eastern Donbas area. Additionally, nine individuals suffered injuries during different assaults in this region, known as the most active combat zone in the conflict.

In the southern Zaporizhzhia region, two deaths resulted from attacks, while five others, including a child, were wounded. Kherson saw three more killed after Russian forces struck residential zones in 39 settlements across the area.

At the same time, Ukraine continues targeting Russian oil infrastructure, both onshore—striking refineries and storage facilities—and offshore, with Kyiv declaring the latest strike against oil tankers believed to be part of the Kremlin’s fleet circumventing sanctions.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy reported that two vessels were hit early Sunday “at the entrance to the port of Novorossiysk” in the Black Sea.

“These tankers had been actively used for oil transportation—no longer,” stated the Ukrainian leader in a message on X.

“Ukraine’s long-range capabilities will keep advancing across sea, air, and land domains. Glory to Ukraine!”

The Novorossiysk port has frequently been targeted by Ukrainian forces, as it has become one of Moscow’s key bases following numerous Kyiv attacks on the annexed Crimean Peninsula.

The port’s strategic value has increased for the Kremlin, reportedly serving as a hub for oil, military, and logistics operations, and is considered a central point for Russia’s shadow fleet activities.
