According to a court schedule made public on The Hague Public Prosecutor’s Office website, the suspect allegedly planned an assault against Princess Amalia, the 22-year-old heir to the Dutch throne, and her 20-year-old sister, Princess Alexia, in The Hague this past February.
«The accused reportedly possessed two axes in early February, each engraved with the names ‘Alexia,’ ‘Mossad,’ and the phrase ‘Sieg Heil,’ alongside a handwritten note containing the words ‘Amalia,’ ‘Alexia,’ and ‘Bloodbath,'» the court document specified.
Representatives from The Hague public prosecutor’s office refused to provide more information before the procedural hearing scheduled for Monday.
Details about the arrest’s time and place were not disclosed. The suspect’s identity remains withheld under Dutch privacy regulations.
The Royal House has yet to issue any official comment regarding the matter.
Previously, Princess Amalia has been subject to threats. In 2022, the heir to the throne was compelled to abandon her student lifestyle in Amsterdam to reside at her parents’ palace due to threats attributed to criminal circles.
At that time, Queen Maxima noted that Amalia “cannot leave home,” highlighting the “significant impact” on her daily life.
Following these events, the eldest princess of the three spent several months living in Madrid and later expressed gratitude towards the Spanish capital and its residents by inaugurating a tulip garden there.
In 2020, a man was found guilty of threatening the then-16-year-old Amalia and one of her friends through Instagram messages.
